When peaches are in season, this is one of my favorite treats!

Here is what you will need for 2 servings:

• 2 peaches (halved with seeds removed)
• 5 tsps of brown sugar
• 1 tsp of cinnamon
• 1 tbsp of maple syrup
• 1 tbsp of whiskey
• 2 or 4 scoops of ice cream 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a sauce pan mix brown sugar, cinnamon, maple syrup, and whiskey.  Heat and stir on low until the mixture is liquified and sugar has dissolved completely.

lightly grease a small cooking dish ( I use olive oil but you can also use butter) and place peaches (flesh up).  Drizzle with the liquid mixture and back for approximately 30 mins.

Remove from oven. Serve warm, topped with ice cream and remaining sugar/whiskey mixture.
