Seared Peaches with Ricotta Cheese

This makes a sweet after dinner dessert or summer treat.  It is quick, easy and sure to impress your guests.

You’ll need:

  • 1 peach per guest
  • 1/2 cp of ricotta cheese (per peach)
  • 1 tbsp of honey (per peach)
  • 1 tsp of ground cinnamon (per peach)

Rinse and half peaches.

Sear peaches, face side down, on the stove with a little olive oil or on  the grill.  Note: I normally sear mine for approximately 2-3 minutes.

While the peaches are cooking mix ricotta cheese, honey and cinnamon together.

Pull peaches off the heat, add a nice helping of ricotta cheese mixture to each half of the peach. Sprinkle with a little more cinnamon and serve.
